Week 8, Syllabus

Mr. Ditzenberger-Church History Lesson: Acts 12 Unit 2
Week: 8 Dates: October 1-5
Objectives:
1. Students will be able to visually recognize the locations of the major cities in the early church through Acts 12.
2. Students will be able to explain and demonstrate what it means to be true to the Lord and how Barnabas exemplified this.
3. Students will synthesize what they have learned in Acts 6-12 by commenting on different aspects of it in a unit test.
4. Students will create a visual record of Acts 12 using their imaginations.

Monday
Continue discussion of key cities of the early church.
Draw a map of the region, labeling key places.
Barnabas-remaining true to the Lord with all of your heart (TV commercial)
Study for test on Acts 6-12. 20 question test on main points. Planned for Thursday.

Tuesday Present commercials

Wednesday Presentations.

Thursday
Acts 12: 1-25. Peter is rescued and Herod killed.
Draw a picture and color it-anything from Acts 12.

Friday If class is in session: Continuation of Act 10.
Analysis of key points in Acts 10.
