Objectives:
1. Students will summarize the dilemma that faced the early church-what to do with the Gentile believers.
2. Students will recreate the debate, using some imagination, between Paul and Barnabas.
3. Students will write out the main points of Acts 16-18.
4. Students will present their recreations of the Paul and Barnabas conflict.
Monday
Quiz-Acts 14
After quiz opener: What is one of the hardest decisions you have ever made? Write it out.
Discussion of Acts 15.
Memory verse: Acts 13:38; 14:22; 15:11 for Wednesday.
Tuesday
Turn Acts 15 into a newspaper article. Create your own newspaper and include a picture that someone draws, an interview, and a title. Groups of two.
Wednesday
Debate between Paul and Barnabas.
Homework: Write a debate between these two. It should be in dialogue form. Groups of two. This will be done in class on Friday.
Thursday
Read and summarize Acts 16-18. Five sentence minimum per chapter. Make sure I can read it and you have proofread it.
Friday
Presentations of dialogues/debates.
